MISSIONS
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms." - 1 Peter 4:10
MISSIONS
The congregation of First Baptist Church has its missionary emphasis extended to the ends of the earth and at the same time has the freedom and space to grow here at home. We believe God calls us to be Christ's hands at work in the world. That is why our members devote a lot of time and energy to missions, both locally and globally. If you have a passion for helping others, contact the church to learn more about our ongoing mission projects.

First Baptist Church is a diverse congregation representing many different views on a variety of subjects, including denominational support for missions beyond the local church. Some of our members direct their denominational mission support through the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship,(https://cbf.net/) while others may choose the Alliance of Baptists,(https://allianceofbaptists.org/) or the Baptist World Alliance.(https://baptistworld.org/) All are united in the belief that God calls us to reach out to the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to minister to persons in need.
