News from Sunday School
With the arrival of a new school year there are some exciting changes for our children and youth. We have devised some new age groupings which will enhance both Sunday School and Family Night Activities.
Our Preschool Department will continue to serve infants, toddlers and pre-kindergartners. Nancy Sutton has graciously offered to serve as Preschool Sunday School Director so that a constant face will be known to our youngsters and their parents. Jessica Brown continues as a paid childcare provider on both Sundays and Wednesdays.
Tricia Craig is now teaching kindergarten through second grade in Room 401A, joining Mary Tyson who teaches grades three through five in Room 401B. Room 401C is being developed as a teacher resource room. In our Youth Department, Sheila Johnson is now the teacher for Middle School and Caroline Creaser remains as Upper School teacher.
We are all enthusiastically looking forward to even stronger programs for our Cradle Roll to our Upper School Seniors! Our Wednesday evening programs have already begun and our young people's response to our new missions program was overwhelming. Janis Lewis, Youth and Children's Director
