Lenten Online Devotionals
Journey to the Cross Press Release
Passport, Inc., 2006
As the Lenten season approaches, Passport is again offering their online devotional series, Journey to the Cross. In its fifth year, Journey to the Cross has seen more than 250,000 visitors during the Lenten seasons alone. Last year, 86,000 visitors
from 93 countries joined in this experience. The site is one of three devotional sites offered by Passport, along with Following the Star and d365.org.
The theme of Journey to the Cross will focus on the “I Am” statements of Christ from the gospel of John. The site is ecumenical in nature and features writers from diverse Christian traditions and backgrounds, including university professors, pastors, and denominational leaders. In addition, eight new musical scores have
been created for this year’s site by Ken Medema.
You can find the devotions online at www.journeytothecross.org staring Ash Wednesday, March 1, 2006. Or, start the experience now by visiting Passport’s year-round site, www.d365.org.
Passport, Inc. is a national ecumenical student ministry organization, providing mission oriented youth and children’s camps and opportunities for students find and follow God’s call in
