FBC Member Featured in Savannah Morning News
First Baptist Church member Jane Jennings was featured in a recent Savannah Morning News article about her trips to volunteer at a Christian mission hospital in Pakistan.
Here's an excerpt from the article:
She serves the 150-bed hospital by working in the lab there, but mostly, she says, by being supportive of the facility's Pakistani doctors and nurses - in the process showing them that someone from the outside world cares about what they're doing.
"I sit down and listen to their problems," said the twice-widowed mother of two sons and grandmother of three. "I make rounds with the doctors, encouraging them and the nurses, and I sit with the ladies who teach those nurses."
