BLOOD DRIVE REPORT

Many thanks to all of you who helped make
our recent blood drive a success. Know that you
saved someone’s life through your gift of time and
blood. The Red Cross was able to collect 18 units.
This is a good beginning toward reaching our goal of
matching Fenwick Nichols’ lifetime giving.
Thank you to the twenty-seven people who
signed in as potential donors. Thank you also to those
who prepared sandwiches. Church members and the
Red Cross team were well fed. Thank you to Jane
Jennings, Shiela Johnson, and Ashley Williams who
served as on-site volunteers. Thank you to Bill
Roberts who made sure the room was ready and
cleaned up afterwards.
One donor was heard to remark that this was
fun and we should do it again. And so we shall. We
hope to have another blood drive in about two
months. For those of you who couldn’t make it on
Sunday, your donation can still count toward our
drive. When you sign in at the donor center on Tibet
Avenue, indicate on the sign-in sheet that you are
with First Baptist.
